From 1 October 2020, Caluwaerts Uytterhoeven welcomes two new lawyers into its team, namely Mr. Marc Van Raemdonck and Mr. Vincent De Somer.
With the integration of VARLAW, our firm has an interdisciplinary team of 39 people, including 30 multilingual lawyers specialised in various fields. In the last year in particular, the team has been reinforced with new young faces.
Both active as lawyers since 1993, but in partnership since 2001, the two founding partners, Mr. Kristiaan Caluwaerts and Prof. Dr. Kristof Uytterhoeven, have surrounded themselves with competent staff. Mr. Ignace Kroos, Mr. Steven Slachmuylders and Mr. Yannick Grauwels have therefore previously acted as partners. In 2018, Mr. Dirk Berckmans and Mr. Frederik Van Overtveldt joined the firm as partners. Mr. Federico Wuyts and Mr. Stephanie Moras followed last year.

Mr. Marc Van Raemdonck joins the firm as Lawyer Of Counsel after a career of 41 years at the bar. Marc has extensive experience as a lawyer and curator at the Corporate Court of Antwerp and focuses within our firm on public and private construction law, real estate law, environmental law, corporate law and insolvency law.
In addition, we welcome Mr. Vincent De Somer back to our office, but now as a junior partner. Vincent was trained at the office and focuses on the follow-up of Marc's files, and has chosen corporate and insolvency law as well as private construction and real estate law as pratice areas.
