Jorge graduated from the University of Antwerp in 2015 as Master of Laws with distinction. In his Master, Jorge did a major in corporate law and a minor in tax law.

Driven by a particular interest in maritime law, Jorge additionally obtained an 'LLM in International Maritime Law' at Swansea University. He also won the Ince & Co Prize there.

After his studies, Jorge started his career as a lawyer at a niche law firm in Antwerp specialising in maritime law and port-related issues.

In January 2023, Jorge joined Caluwaerts Uytterhoeven, where he will focus on corporate and company law.
