Federico Wuyts
Mr. Federico Wuyts has been a lawyer at the Antwerp Bar since 2011. Since that year, he has been part of the Caluwaerts Uytterhoeven team. From 1 October 2019, he is a partner of the firm.
Mr. Wuyts focuses mainly on corporate law, M&A and insolvency law. He assists companies in their mergers, acquisitions, reorganisation, investments and similar transactions. In addition, he is proficient in drafting and reviewing various commercial agreements and regularly assists clients in commercial and corporate litigation.
Mr. Wuyts obtained his law degree from the University of Antwerp in 2011. As part of the Erasmus exchange programme, he studied at the Freie Universität and the Humboldt Universität in Berlin. There he pursued, among other things, an in-depth study of international commercial law and arbitration. In 2015, Federico Wuyts specialised in business law at the University of Antwerp, where he obtained the degree of Master in Business Law.
Given his particular interest in insolvency law, in 2020 he followed the postgraduate course of Trustee - Liquidator. Since June 2021, Federico Wuyts was included in the list of trustees of the Commercial Court of Antwerp, Antwerp Division.
