In the year 2000, Kristof Uytterhoeven obtained his doctorate in law from KU Leuven. He was a deputy lecturer at the same university's Faculty of Law and is currently a senior lecturer at KU Leuven's Faculty of Architecture, where he teaches contract law, property law and construction law to the Master of Architecture and Master of Interior Architecture students.

He is also co-editor-in-chief of the ‘Tijdschrift voor Bouwrecht en Onroerend Goed’, as well as the ‘Handboek bouwrecht’. These academic engagements allow him to respond quickly to the most recent and important evolutions in law. In addition, Mr. Uytterhoeven is a member of the Belgian Construction Law Association and, together with Mr. Stephanie Moras, he represents the firm in the Public Procurement Foundation (‘Stichting Overheidsopdrachten’).
