Louis De Fonseca joined the firm in November 2025 and has been practising as a lawyer at the Bar of Antwerp since the same date. He started his career in 2023 at a leading law firm in Brussels, where he spent the first few years of his traineeship focusing heavily on public procurement law and public law in general.
At our firm, Mr De Fonseca specialises in public law, more specifically in public procurement, public-private partnerships (PPP) and public contracts. He advises both public authorities and private parties on legal matters surrounding the outsourcing and performance of public contracts, and represents clients in disputes involving administrative law.
Mr De Fonseca obtained a Master in Laws from KU Leuven in 2022, with a particular focus on International and European Law and Public and Administrative Law. In 2023, he completed an MSc in International Law and Business at University College Dublin. He obtained his Bachelor in Laws at the University of Namur (UNamur).
Under the supervision of Prof Kristof Uytterhoeven, Stéphanie Moras and Stéphanie Schepens, Mr De Fonseca will focus on construction, public procurement and PPS.
