Tom Robeyns

Tom Robeyns started his career in 1993 as a trainee under Jan Van Rooy in Turnhout.

After completing his traineeship, he continued to be employed by that firm for several years, setting up his own firm at the same time.

In 2012, he became a partner at Anturlex Advocaten, a firm he helped found, which has since been taken over by Advocatenkantoor Caluwaerts Uytterhoeven with effect from 1 September 2025.

He has been working as an insolvency practitioner at the Turnhout division of the Antwerp Commercial Court since 1998, and has settled over 300 bankruptcy procedures over that time. The court has also appointed him as a company administrator and liquidator.

Since 1998, he has also been a debt mediator and has dealt with over 800 collective debt settlement cases in that capacity.

Aside from specialising in insolvency law, Mr Robeyns also focuses on family law.

He has been a member of the Bar of Turnhout for many years, has acted as chair of the Junior Bar Association there, and has chaired the Legal Aid Bureau.
