Vincent De Somer
Mr. Vincent De Somer has been a partner at the firm since October 2020. He focuses on corporate and insolvency law as well as private construction and real estate law.
Mr. De Somer graduated from the University of Antwerp in 2015 as Master of Laws with distinction. His thesis topic was ‘Politicians on the Board of Directors of a company’. In his master, Vincent chose to major in corporate law and minor in tax law.
Vincent De Somer started his traineeship at the Antwerp Bar at the Caluwaerts Uytterhoeven office and remained there as an associate after three years of traineeship. During these years, he built up a thorough experience in legal proceedings and assisted several major contractors and entrepreneurs in disputes.
In September 2019, he made the move to his own firm. Since October 2020, he rejoins the Caluwaerts Uytterhoeven office as a partner.
