Antwerp is still the global centre for diamonds. Diamonds and Antwerp have been inextricably linked for almost 600 years.

Throughout its rich history, the diamond industry has occupied a special place in the heart of the city. Diamond is thus an intrinsic part of Antwerp. It is also a vital part of the Belgian economy.
